"Denaro Media"
The project aims at defining and prototyping a Multichannel Collaborative Content Management System able to support the creation, storage, retrieval and publications of multimedia contents towards different communication media (Web, TV, Mobile TV, Radio, etc.) in a collaborative environment. The project includes research activities concerning the semantic annotation of multimedia contents, the usage of information retrieval techniques for searching and reusing contents, and the publication of descriptive metadata on contents by means of emerging standards such as RSS and RDF-SPARQL.
Role: Project co-author and technical supervisor for the Department of Engineering of the University of Sannio.

"SOGEI"
The project aims at realizing a solution for the development of enterprise Web portals by integrating open source software solutions including the OpenCMS Content Management Systems, the JetSpeed portal, the OpenLDAP directory and the JOSSO single-sign system.

"Service Centric Systems Engineering (SeCSE)"
The primary goal of this research project is to create methods, tools and techniques for systems intergrators
and service providers to support the cost-effective development
and use of dependable services and service-centric applications.
The project brings together IT companies, developers and research
labs and is driven by the emerging needs in the automotive and telecommunications
industries.
Technically, SeCSE focuses on four ares for the engineering of sw systems: specification, discovery, design, and management of services for which new techniques and tools will be delivered. These tools and techniques will be integrated to provide a SeCSE development environment and, based on visionary scenarios from application partners, domain-specific adaptations.
Role: Member of the development team for RCOST.

"GPAWeb"
The project was intend to reengineer and migrate onto the Web an application (named GPA) for the e-procurement in the Public Health centers and adotpion of the Web meta-platform.
The GPA software was developed by Biosal Scrl, an ICT company seated in Novoli (Le) Italy. I am responsible of the coordination of the project activities that will be developed by the Department of Innovation Engineering, University of Lecce, Italy.

"Intese"
The INTESE project (INnovative Technologies against Social Exclusion)
was a pioneer project aimed
at exploring new ways of communication for the dissemination of
information concerning the asylum and immigration policy in Europe.
It has been funded through the Joint
Actions of the SOCRATES, LEONARDO & YOUTH PROGRAMMES, call DG
EAC No 04/02 of the European Commission
(project number N° 107417) and involves various European partners.
Role: Co-author of the project and developer of the implementation activities. |

Survey on Organizational and Tecnological
Innovation of Italian Municipalities
The project aimed at conducting a survey and to study the innovative
models of e-government setted up by Italian local administrations.
The commission for the research was granted to the University of
Lecce by the Italian Minister for the Innovation and the Technologies.
Italian name of the project: "Rilevazione sull'Innovazione Organizzativa
e Tecnologica nei Comuni".
Role: Member of the research group wich developed
the project. |

Innovative Systems for e-commerce
of ICT products and services
The project aimed at researching and experimenting innovative solutions
for electronic commerce of ICT products and services. The project
was implemented by SVIC,
an ICT small company seated in Lecce, and was funded by Regione
Puglia among the POR program of Regional fundings.
Italian name of the projec: "Sistemi evoluti di supporto al commercio
di prodotti e servizi informatici".
Role: I was member of the research group of the
Department of Engineering of Innovation of the University of Lecce
wich was charged for the research inside the project. |

Technological Solutions for the Migration
of Legacy Business Software on a Web Centric Architecture
The project, funded by the Regione
Puglia, was aimed at reengineering a business legacy software developed
by Sinfor (an ICT company
based in Lecce) on a Web centric architecture, using design methodologies
and developing technologies suitable for Web application.
Italian name of the project: "Soluzioni tecnologiche per il porting
di software applicativo legacy su un'architettura web centric".
Role: I collaborated with prof. M. Bochicchio in
developing the research activities planned in the project.
